Montanesque Enterprises Announces Availability of MP3 Format
Audio Files From Featured Musician J. D. Warrick

Direct Access Music CD Also Released With Songs
in MP3 and Standard CD Audio Format

ELK GROVE, California [October 25, 2000 /PRNewswire]-- Montanesque Enterprises, a leading Web design and artist promotion firm, today announced the availability of several newly released light jazz works in MP3 format by J. D. Warrick, a co-founder of Montanesque Enterprises and a featured musician on Montanesque's Artist Community. These and other downloadable and streaming music files are available free from MP3.com and the Artist Community Web sites-- both premiere destinations for new music.

Also available now on MP3.com is a Direct Access Music (DAM) compact disc of these new releases. DAM compact discs contain songs in both MP3 and standard CD audio format, permitting use in both regular stereo CD players and MP3 players. Users can download one or two songs, receive streaming audio, or purchase the DAM CD at www.mp3.com/jdwarrick.

The Montanesque Artist Community at www.arts-com.com is one of the oldest artist-focused sites on the Internet. Dedicated to promoting emerging independent visual artists, authors, and musicians via both the Internet and traditional marketing avenues, the Artist Community offers artists' works for sale and publicizes artist appearances. The site offers users the opportunity to sample clips in MP3 (download), Real Audio (streaming), and QuickTime (download) format from Warrick's previous releases, The Second Half of the Journey and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing. Both titles-- as well as works by other featured musicians including David Blonski, John Englander, Eliza Mourgas, Irma Pane, and Grass Menagerie-- are available for purchase through the Artist Community's secure order processing center.

"As an artist, I am excited to be associated with MP3.com, and to be able to make my music available to so many people," said Warrick. "This digital distribution giant is a high profile resource for independent musicians that extends the service model of Montanesque's Artist Community."

More information on Warrick and music samples can be found at jdwarrick.arts-com.com, www.mp3.com/jdwarrick, and jdwarrick.iuma.com.
