Montanesque Enterprises has launched an internet
based Online Catalog service, featuring the works
of artists from around the world. The Online
Catalog can be found at
http://www.montanesque.com/, and can accommodate
mail orders as well as VISA and Master Card orders.
A toll-free 800 phone number and SSL encryption
will be available in the near future. The
company was started by two former silicon valley
high tech company employees (Apple Computer and HP)
who wanted an opportunity to self-market their work
and the work of other independent artists.
Currently the server is host to nearly a dozen
artists from around the world. That number is
expected to grow to more than 100 in the next 6-8
months. Customers
can view panoramic photographs by photographer Jim
Guthrie or browse the works of other artists which
include stained glass, calligraphy greeting cards,
Japanese Water Garden fountains, native American
inspired designs on birch jewelry and woodwork, and
portraits by an artist in Cornwall. Also available
are the books and tapes of widely known mystic and
spiritual healer, Betty Bethards. The web site
features include links to other artist sites, a
Yahoo and InfoSeek search engine and a listing of
Northern California Art & Wine Festivals. Later
in the year, additions will include self-published
music and books by Montanesque
Enterprises. The
company is soliciting works from other artists, and
may be reached via email (2dolphin@montanesque.com)
or U.S. Mail. There are four posting options from
which artists can select to include their work in
the Catalog. Montanesque
