RELEASE ELK GROVE, California, [July
10, 2000] --
To better meet the growing demand for Web design in
the Central Valley and Greater Sacramento areas,
Montanesque Enterprises, a leading Web design and
artist promotion firm, has established a new Elk
Grove office. With a broad spectrum of services,
Montanesque Enterprises is well poised to help
local businesses and individual artists &
musicians focus their marketing efforts on the Web
and in print, as well as drive new e-commerce
strategies to meet the demands of the Internet
Economy. "Clearly this is an exploding
market, and we saw a need to establish a strong,
local presence to serve businesses here as well as
in the Silicon Valley area, where we were founded,"
said J. D. Warrick, Partner. "We are thrilled by
this expansion and will continue to support our Bay
Area clients while working to build relationships
with clients in the Greater Sacramento area. The
expansion has allowed us to double the physical
size of our offices, and allowed us to establish a
warehouse area for shipping and
receiving." Montanesque Enterprises offers
design services for Web sites and print materials,
as well as expertise in e-commerce, media
streaming, and database management. The company was
founded in 1996 by Ann Filios and J. D. Warrick to
help emerging independent artists promote their
works. The company's first focus area, the Artist
Community (www.arts-com.com), now one of the oldest
artist-focused sites on the Internet, was born as a
way for Warrick to market his own music. Today the
Artist Community promotes a number of independent
artists via both the Internet and traditional
marketing avenues, offering artists' works for sale
as well as providing a Festival and Event site
(www.montanesque.com/festivals) to help publicize
artist appearances. A second branch of Montanesque
Enterprises, Studio-Net (www.studio-net.com/), is
devoted to developing Websites and marketing
collateral for the large and small business
community. The company's Web development and
software implementation clients have included such
industry leaders as Affymax Research Institute (a
division of Glaxo-Wellcome), Maxygen, Inc.,
KLA-Tencor, and many others. Montanesque
personalizes each client's Website, tailoring it
from scratch to meet the company's individual goals
and needs. Montanesque's broad range of
services includes: Montanesque is an Affiliate
Developer of iCat, a division of Intel Online
Services, and uses iCat products to provide secure
online order processing for its customers and
clients, and provides products through an interface
with Amazon.com. The company is a member of the
Network Solutions Affiliate Program to provide
domain name registration and management. Design With A Mindful
Approach "The act of bringing focus to
what we do, which we define as 'practicing
mindfulness by design,' is at the core of the
expectations we have of ourselves as a company,"
said Ann Filios, Partner. "This approach
permeates our business Website design projects, as
well as the products featured on the Montanesque
artist e-commerce sites. With so many thousands of
commercial sites using high-pressure and impersonal
approaches, our expertise is in presenting products
and services that touch customers personally and
enhance their lives in some way." Montanesque's unique approach
has garnered praise from a wide variety of
customers. Brad Li, former Executive Vice President
at GuardOne.com, is extremely pleased with
Montanesque's design work on the GuardOne Web site.
"A job well done," he said. "We like the site very
much and believe that it will serve us well. We
really appreciate the great work." The Santa Clara
County Office of Education called the staff at
Montanesque Enterprises "world class designers,"
and Charles Rubin of Rubin Advertising added,
"Brilliant! Genius!" Montanesque Enterprises, a
leading corporate Web design and artist promotion
firm, provides e-commerce and design services that
meld the classic with the
contemporary
-- giving new life to
business. Montanesque is proud to be affiliated
with iCat, a division of Intel Online Services,
Amazon.com, Network Solutions, Best Internet
Developer Program, Make-A-Cool-Card Affiliate
Program, and Printing.com. Montanesque Enterprises
