Design
for Augusta Opera Brochure Wins Bronze at
Summit Creative
Awards
The two companies collaborated on the 2000-2001
season brochure for Augusta Opera, designed to help
Georgia's oldest continually performing opera and
music theater company expand ticket sales. The
brochure design was selected as a winner among more
than 3,000 international entries in 17 creative
categories. Judges looked for creative concepts,
strong executions, and the ability to communicate
and persuade.
"Together with Charles Rubin Advertising, we are
honored to receive this terrific recognition from
some of the top creative experts in the industry,"
said JD Warrick, partner at Montanesque
Enterprises. Charles Rubin, CEO of Charles Rubin
Advertising, added, "This award validates the
success of our ongoing partnership with Montanesque
Enterprises."
Created in 1994 to recognize exceptional work by
advertising agencies, video production companies,
multimedia firms and other creative groups with
annual billings of $15 million or less, the Summit
Creative Awards is the only opportunity such firms
have to compete internationally. This year's panel
of judges included Jeff Calison of J. Walter
Thompson, Frank Blossom of frankcommunications,
Michael Knapstein of Waldbillig & Besteman,
Inc., Hal Hodgson of The Marketing Deli, Hugh
Cadden of Will Vinton Studios, Todd Munn of Cole
& Weber/Red Cell and Mike Byrne of Wieden &
Kennedy.
